Multinational Corps Northeast's evaluation kicks off

SZCZECIN, Poland - On 19 October, STEADFAST JUPITER 21, NATO's largest computer-assisted command post exercise of 2021, started.  The 11-day event serves to evaluate Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE). Reinforced by subordinate units, the Corps Command shall prove its continued capability to act as the only Regional Land Component Command in the NATO Force Structure.

In addition to HQ MNC NE, exercise STEADFAST JUPITER 2021 will provide vast training opportunities for Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), theatre component commands (Allied Land Command, Allied Maritime Command, Allied Air Command and NATO Military Cyber Operations Centre), as well as the NATO Response Force 2022.

Sponsored by SHAPE and directed by the Stavanger-based Joint Warfare Centre, the exercise consists of all domain operations against a peer adversary based on a fictitious training scenario using a 360-degree approach, set in the High North region of Europe and the Baltic Sea Region.
