The main highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Polish Army Flag by the Brigade Commander, Col. Mirosław Postołowicz.

The flag represents respect for colours, traditions and national symbols and it is a source of pride and satisfaction for soldiers and employees of a military unit.

In his speech, Chief National Support Unit, Lieutenant Colonel Piotr Wawrzyniak, underlined the significance of receiving the Flag by the unit:

Pride, respect and satisfaction from receiving the Polish Army Flag from the hands of the Brigade Commander is what every commander would like to experience. (...)

"However, it means also a commitment to maintaining standards and values on which the National Support Unit is built. As Chief National Support Unit, I have confidence that the soldiers and personnel of the Unit will stand up to this challenge. You are professionals and I know that you will perform each task entrusted to you at the highest possible level."
