Video: Challenger 2 tanks and Trojan vehicles blast their way through Queen's Royal Hussars exercise in Estonia

SZCZECIN, Poland – During an exercise at the Tapa training area, Estonia, the British Army's armoured crews operating Challenger 2 tanks and supported by combat engineers put down covering fire and engaged enemy tank targets.

Currently deployed in Estonia as part of NATO's enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup, B Squadron, the Queen's Royal Hussars, trained alongside 52 Engineer Regiment in the Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks, fitted with Mine-Plow equipment. As well as clearing complex obstacles, the tanks made short work of a minefield with help from a Trojan armoured vehicle. Breaching an obstacle belt is one of the most challenging combined arms operations. Throughout the exercise, the tanks put down covering fire for the engineers, engaging with enemy tank targets.
