Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast helps facilitate veterans

SZCZECIN – On May 22, Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast (HQ MNC NE) put into service a parking space for veterans who suffered wounds and injuries in missions.

This is a symbolic recognition of our wounded and injured veterans and our way of showing respect and gratitude to those who have given so much for freedom and peace in the world,

said Lieutanant Colonel Marcin Przybylski of HQ MNC NE, the initiative’s originator, wounded in Afghanistan. Presided over by the Corps’ Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Bogdan Rycerski, the ceremony saw a number of HQ MNC NE's service members as well as representatives of veterans' organizations and local authorities. The event was held ahead of the Day of Veterans Serving Outside Poland, which in the Polish Armed Forces falls on May 29.
